Ngarramba Indigenous Homework Club (PaCE)

Helping kids stay on track at school and connected to community.

The Ngarramba Indigenous Homework Club is a Parent and Community Engagement (PaCE) Program. It supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids aged 8–14 on Worimi Country who have decreased school attendance. We help students and their families build skills, motivation and community connections to support school engagement.

How we help:

  • Homework support:

Helping kids stay on top of schoolwork in a relaxed, supportive space.

  • Motivation and engagement: Encouraging school attendance through fun, meaningful activities.
  • Family involvement: Working with parents to build advocacy skills and strengthen community ties.

Our team also supports parents to develop their own skills, connect with local networks and feel more confident supporting their child’s education.
