Lisa Berry

General Manager

Community Services

Lisa has been a dedicated leader at Community Resources for over a decade, first managing Homebase Youth Services before stepping into her current role overseeing all of our community services. She has led through change and challenges, ensuring vital services remain available and staff continue to have meaningful employment.

Known for her determination, cultural awareness and fair leadership, Lisa is committed to strengthening the Mid North Coast community and helping local people access the support they need.

“Passion for my work comes from knowing that every effort we make strengthens our community. Seeing lives change, opportunities grow and support reach those who need it most fuels my commitment every day.”

Toni Buckshiram

Operations Manager

Community Services

Toni oversees operations across our community services – including Homebase – focusing on staff recruitment, training, development and overall program support.

Toni started with Homebase in 2017 as an Admin Assistant and progressed through various roles. In 2023, she stepped into her current role as Operations Manager, bringing years of hands-on experience.

Outside of work, Toni loves spending time at the beach and camping with her family.

“I am passionate about my role as it allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we work with. I’m extremely lucky that I get to support and guide them through many different challenges, helping build confidence to reach their full potential.”

Joey Engel

Homebase Manager

Joey ensures Homebase provides the best possible support to the NSW Mid-North Coast community.

He works closely with local schools, services and partners to develop and deliver impactful programs for young people and families while ensuring his team has the resources and support they need to create real change.

“I’m grateful to lead an amazing team at Homebase. Seeing the difference we’re making in young people’s lives keeps us going.”

Sarah Little

Homebase Team Leader

Sarah leads the Strive for Success program, helping young people build confidence, develop new skills and achieve their goals. She has been with Homebase for eight years, previously working as a Case Manager and Supported Playgroup Coordinator.

With a background as an early childhood educator, she is passionate about creating opportunities for local youth to grow and thrive. In 2023, Sarah received the Rose Community Service Award from Dr David Gillespie MP, recognising her dedication to supporting people in need and making our community a better place for all.

When she’s not at work, Sarah is always on the move – whether it’s spending time at the beach or keeping up with her three boys and dog, Ernie.

“I feel really lucky to have a job where I go to work every day and love what I do. I have met so many incredible people, and I love seeing them grow and become more confident in themselves to believe they can achieve their goals.”

Our team is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where you feel heard, valued and empowered.
