Playgroup

Homebase’s supported playgroup is for children aged 0-5 years and their families.

Our supported playgroup program allows parents, carers and children the opportunity to interact in a fun and stimulating environment, with services delivered by trained early childhood educators.

We provide a safe place to support our local families in all aspects of parenting and raising children. The children love the social interactions they have while at playgroup and learn valuable social skills while enjoying art and craft, various toys and early learning games.

We also have a large outdoor space where the children are given the opportunity to run, jump, climb and play ball games in a safe and secure environment. Morning tea is provided and children, parents and carers are encouraged to recognise the nutritional value of making healthy choices every day.

Our Playgroup staff can also provide access to additional family support programs and allied health referrals.

Playgroup is run in school terms from “The Loop” at 9 South Street Tuncurry on Tuesdays & Thursday from 10am-12pm. There is also free transport available.
